I did not like the orange juice in the sweet potatoes. There seems to be a discrepency on the instructions. The recipe calls for orange juice but the direction say to add apple juice. Which is it...? I also felt that these sweets were not as sweet as my own recipe. I did not like the topping. I am not sure if I will make this again, if I do, I will have to doctor it up.

Instead of boiling and then peeling the sweet potatoes,I find it easier to peel them raw, cut in slices and steamiing them in my steamer.They only require about 15-20 min. steaming and they are ready to add to the rest of the ingredients.You are not pouring any of the nutrients down the drain.

Delicious and very easy to prepare. I tried a simple variation of this recipe, I topped the sweet potatoes with miniature marshmellows and baked it until the marshmellows were melted. I made this last Thanksgiving and I ran out. Every one was looking for more. It's so easy.
