Think of this recipe as one big baked taco, a dinner that can be ready for the oven in 10 minutes flat!

For everyone having dough issues, use cresent rolls instead! Half on bottom, other on top, laid flat and even. Much easier, prettier, and tasier in my oppion! Also the onions and japs idea works great with this to. Good luck, hope yall enjoy

Did not care for at all, too messy looking. Definitely did not look like the recipe picture! For me at any rate!

I put all the dough on the bottom, because it was so hard to work with. Next time, I'll use 2 cups of Bisquick and 3/4 cup milk and knead and then roll in out. Make "cutouts" for the top. I bought Hormel "hot" chili with beans, because the recipe looked like it might lack flavor. Sauteed 1/2 onion and 1/2 jalapeno pepper and added them on top the chili. Could have used even more! We also put some avocado on top along with the lettuce and tomato. Yummy! The recipe didn't look too wonderful, but it tasted good and it was fast and cheap. I also use the heart smart bisquick. Also low-fat milk. Used a mixture of cheddar and jack and that was good, too. I chopped up cherry tomatoes. There are only 2 of us and we got two entrees out of it. Six servings would be smallish luncheon sized servings. Will definitely make again. A good winter weekday dish.

Sorry to say this recipe was terrible. The dough was very dry and the appearance was not very appealing. I must mention something very important that anyone who makes dough would notice that you don't use a whisk on something with this consistency. The whole thing balls up inside the whisk. If you are going to attempt this recipe just mix it up with a spoon and then use your hands to gather it together into a ball of dough.

Good and easy. Next time I would do less dough though, probably none on the top. Seemed like too much biscuit for the amount of chili. Still yummy though.

Too much bread. Not enough flavor. Husband liked it more than I did. Not a do again.

I had trouble with the dough because it was sticking to everything. I guess I would try using flour on my hands and using a spoon instead of wisk. It ended up tasting good but it was frustrating to get ready.

I, of course, had a hard time mixing the dough...it got all stuck to my hands...(I'm a new cooker)...so I used flour on my hands, which worked out okay. The dish was good, I wouldn't say it's the best I've ever had, but it was good enough to make again for a quick meal (if there's flour handy!!).
