O.M.G! These are SO. DELCIOUS! I've made them twice now, within two weeks of each other (gotta do something with that extra cake mix, right?). My daughter and best friend both LOVED them. The second time around I halved the recipe since a full batch is too much for just my daughter and me. And the glaze is PERFECT for these. I'm thinking of trying some different cake mix flavors, but I'm just not sure I can get myself away from the awesomeness that is yellow cake mix.

I am making these right now. I have to say the first batch was burned since I had the skillet too hot. the second batch seems to be working. The glaze was to thick for my liking so I just added more milk to make a syrup. My daughter and her friends are still sleeping but this will be a nice surprise birthday breakfast for her... oh and I used confetti cake mix instead of the yellow

I made these this morning. It is hard to taste the cake batter flavor when eaten with syrup like we did. They were moist but a little heavier then regular pancakes. Loved the Sprinkles inside! Probably won't make again but certainly don't regret our breakfast choice in having made them.

I love this recipe. I read all the mix reviews and still wanted to try this. The first time it was good, even though I did not do the icing or use sprinkles. The next time I made this I used extra vanilla exact and a little cinnamon. It turned out much better with more favor. This is not too sweet so I use light syrup and light butter. This is easy to make and I make these almost every weekend.

I agree with Annie74..Too many times I have read commentary about recipes people never even tried, commentary about nutrition or ingredients that they had issue with etc.Facebook is a good place for stuff like that.It is quite annoying to see negative reviews based on personal opinion and not fact based on actually making it.In this case the person did make it and tried it so I read their review and took it into consideration.I did try this for my niece and she liked it very much.It is something I would make for a treat.Luckily her favorite is yellow cake which fits right in.
