cup Caesar dressing

tablespoons dried cranberries

Directions

  • 1 Heat water to boiling in 2-quart saucepan. Add beans. Heat to boiling. Boil uncovered 5 minutes. Cover and boil 2 to 5 minutes longer or until crisp-tender; drain. Toss with dressing.
  • 2 Place beans in serving bowl. Sprinkle with cranberries.

To toast almonds, bake uncovered in ungreased shallow pan in 350° oven about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown. Or cook in ungreased heavy skillet over medium-low heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently until browning begins, then stirring constantly until golden brown.

If you don't have dried cranberries on hand, sprinkle with sliced toasted almonds or freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
