cup long grain rice, uncooked
  1. Cook 1 cup rice according to package directions.
  2. While rice is cooking; chop all other ingredients and put in large stew pot
  3. add about 2 cups water
  4. cover and steam on medium heat until cabbage is tender. Season as desired.
  5. When rice is done; add it to the stew pot. Stir everything up good and enjoy.
