18.25 box Betty Crocker Yellow Cake mix

egg yolk
CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

stick butter
8
oz. cream cheese
1/2
box confectioners sugar
1/4
teaspoons butternut flavoring
1/2
cup toasted pecan pieces
  1. In a large bowl cream together the butter and cream cheese. Blend in the egg yolk and butternut flavoring. Gradually beat in cake mix. Dough will be stiff, Cover and chill for 30 minutes,
  2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease cookie sheets. Drop dough by round teaspoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets
  3. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until firm. Cool on wire rack.
  4. Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting
  5. Cream butter and cream cheese. gradually add sugar. Frost cooled cookies. Top with toasted pecans.
  6. To toast pecans. Place on baking sheet and toast for 4 minutes on 350 degrees.
