The cake is easy to make and brings a smile to all of the kids and the young at heart as well. My nieces didn't want to eat it....they loved looking at it. But appetites won out and they loved it. Great holiday cake.

I really enjoyed making this cake. I used my favorite cake recipe which is called perfectly chocolate by Hershey's. therefore it took slightly longer to cook in the bowl then I thought but it was worth it. The cake stayed moist and the coconut was a great touch both for flavor and decoration. I am not good at icing cakes so the coconut hid all my imperfections. I also appreciated the picture of the "before" so it was easier to put together. I was able to use toothpicks and it stayed up. Thank you Betty Crocker for coming up with a fun cake for Easter and making it easy for not so professional bakers like myself!

I used a 2 quart oven safe measuring cup to make the body in and it was the perfect shape - no trimming needed at all. It turned out just like the photo. I couldn't find taffy but I cut ovals out if the fruit roll ups for the pads in the feet and they were really easy to work with. I also used the fruit rollups for the carrots.

Cookin-brownie I've made this cake for 3 years now and I have gotten the best results using a round glass casserole dish. It works really well and the cake comes out real moist

My guys don't care for coconut, so I believe I will try and make it a chocolate bunny. They are crazy for chocolate frosting and cake, and this would be so cute as a chocolate bunny trying to escape :)

I used a different type of pan, but the results were the same. I did not do the ears as it shows, but used frosting for the whole cake instead, and tinted it pink for the little feet.
