Enjoy this delicious chicken salad topped with veggies – a wonderful dinner ready in 20 minutes!

Ingredients

package (9 ounces) frozen breaded chicken breast tenders

tablespoon chili powder

cups shredded lettuce
2
cups carrot sticks
2
cups celery sticks
2
cups broccoli florets
2
cups sliced cucumbers (2 small)

bottle (8 ounces) blue cheese dressing (1 cup)

Directions

  • 1 Place chicken and chili powder in resealable plastic food-storage bag; seal bag and shake well to coat. Prepare chicken as directed on package.
  • 2 Arrange lettuce on large serving platter. Top with vegetables and cooked chicken. Serve with dressing.

Expert Tips

Ranch dressing can be used instead of the blue cheese. If you're serving this salad to small children, omit the chili powder. Instead, sprinkle the chicken tenders with a little paprika or mixed dried herbs.
