Ranch dressing and cream of celery soup offsets the spice from buffalo wing sauce in a satisfying, meat-and-potatoes casserole.

This dish was sooo good! I think I had three helpings the first night and ate the leftovers for the next two days lunches. I cooked it a bit longer because I forgot to thaw out the potatoes. There were still some undercooked potato pieces after it came out of the oven, but I didn't mind. I also used fat free sour cream instead of regular, but other than that I stuck with the recipe. I would definitely make this again.

My family LOVES this meal. I cut my chicken into bite size pieces and I use frozen shredded O'Brien hashbrowns (the kind with peppers and onions in them) I also use Frank's buffalo sauce. Yummy!!

I used a 2 1b bag obrien hashbrowns, mixed with 16 oz sour cream, cream chicken soup, 3cups sharp shredded cheese. Used 2 1bs chicken tenders,(soaked for 1 hour in buffalo sauce). Put hashbrown mix in 13x9 pan, topped with tenders and sprinkled panco breadcrumbs on top. Baked for 80 mins @ 350. Everyone came back for seconds!

Made this tonight but would make a few changes in the future. I added garlic, salt, and pepper to season the chicken and potatoes which worked great. Also I used panko bread crumbs instead of corn flakes. I used regular potatoes and shredded them myself BUT fresh potatoes need much longer to cook so next time I might put the potatoes in for 15 minutes before I put the chicken on top. Boyfriend LOVED the chicken and said this could be one of his favorite meals.

This is my boyfriend of 4 years favorite dish! I cut up my own potatoes and boil them a little so they don't need as much oven time. I don't use the cream of celery, corn flakes or onions (boyfriend is incredibly picky). It turns out wonderfully even still!

Very disappointed in this recipe. I love buffalo chicken and thought this would be a great dish. The hashbrown mixture was not a good combination. :( I would not recommend this recipe to friends. Sorry Betty.

Some of you need to re-read the recipe and follow it.... It does say frozen potatoes (thawed) and you don't just cook the chicken for 30 minutes -- it's 30 minutes for just the first part then additional time. I love this site and the recipes ~ if these are not to your taste there are multitudes of others out there; maybe you should go find one of them.
