Very delicious and a crowd pleaser but sort of a tedious process so make sure you have plenty of time. These are much better than the original Buckeye!

I should add that I didn't get the indention in the cookie part like the picture shows so had to push in with a spoon. Don't know why that happened. Still awesome and love them. Still 5 spoons.

We thought these were awesome and I will definitely make them again. I thought they were so easy for how wonderful they are. They were gone in a flash and a super big hit. I did have trouble with the instructions. The peanut butter added last was included in the frosting so I got peanut butter in there, too. I should have read the instructions more closely. My fault. I give them 5 big spoons!

These are delicious and the addition of the cookie makes them better than buckeyes! If you read the instructions thoroughly before you start mixing you should have no problems with this recipe. The only thing I had trouble with was getting the pb filling to stay on the cookie and not attached to my fingers... after about 2 cookies I just globbed the mixture into a ziplock bag, snipped the end off and easily squeezed the filling onto the rest of the cookies in a whopping 2 minutes. Maybe this is where I cut out the time-consuming part that people were complaining about? Also, I forget to buy whipping cream for the frosting so I used a tub of store bought frosting I had and didn't bother with the drizzle and they are still fantastic!

Regardless of what the last couple people said. I have made these the last 3 years for Christmas and they are my sons favorite. My peanut butter filling set up just fine. My brother in law always swipes a little box full before leaving my house.

These are good, not great. They’re not close to a buckeye. They have too much chocolate to be a buckeye. So if you like chocolate you will like these. For the time required and taste, I will just make buckeyes in the future. They were good though.

I will not be making these again. I only served them because they were going to teens. The cookie part is dry and not tasty. The peanut butter did not set in like the picture. Tasted nothing like a buckeye. Very disappointed. Good thing I made other plans for my cookie exchange.

I found these to be a little labor intensive. I also would have appreciated it if they had listed the topping ingredients by topping, seeing there are TWO toppings. I mixed all of the topping ingredients together as listed: 1/2 cup whipping cream, 1 cup plus two Tbl semisweet chocolate chips, 1 Tbl peanut butter--when it should have been listed 1 cup whipping cream + 1 cup chocolate chips for the first 2 Tbl chocolate chips + 1 Tbl peanut butter for the second. I wouldn't recommend if you don't have a lot of time.

Like someone said before, they are extremely time consuming. They taste okay, but I cant say they taste like a buckeye at all, cookie part very dry. I would much rather just make buckeyes.
