ounces (4 squares) semisweet baking chocolate (dark chocolate and German chocolate work but adjust sugar)

Cup Butter (or margarine I prefer butter)

eggs, slightly beaten

Cup granulated sugar

Cup flour

teaspoon vanilla extract (imitation works well also)

Cup chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, which ever is your favorite even peanuts or cashews)
  1. Preheat oven to 325 Melt chocolate and butter over medium low heat. Cool.
  2. Stir in eggs, sugar, flour and vanilla. Stir in nuts. Put in muffin tins. 1/3rd full or about 2 tablespoons.
  3. Bake 30 mins or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
