Brownie “I Scream” Sundaes

Add ice cream and brownie into waffle bowl to make these tasty sundaes – a delicious dessert made with Betty Crocker® brownie mix.

box (1 lb 2 oz) Betty Crocker™ Ultimate fudge brownie mix
Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box

cups cookies and cream ice cream or favorite flavor

waffle ice cream bowls (3 1/2 inches in diameter)

cup hot fudge topping, heated
1/2
cup chopped pecans, toasted

maraschino cherries with stems
Gummy worm candies, if desired

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Make and bake brownie mix as directed on box for 9-inch square pan, using water, oil and eggs. Cool 30 minutes (brownies will still be warm). Cut into 5 rows by 4 rows. Reserve 10 brownies for another use.
  • 2 For each sundae, scoop 1/2 cup ice cream into each waffle bowl; add 1 brownie to bowl. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon hot fudge topping; sprinkle with pecans. Top with cherry and gummy worms.

Expert Tips

Individually wrap leftover brownies in plastic wrap; freeze. Remove from the freezer and tuck into brown-bag lunches.
