Family celebration breakfast today. The fun factor was the chocolate syrup, whip cream and sprinkles. Cooking: I made exactly as described. Easy to do. They cooked up nicely though a bit faster and cooler than the normal Bisquick recipe. Taste: Chocolate taste certainly came through but tasted a bit powdery. It wasn't very moist. Not a great depth or complexity of flavor. Overall family vote: Ok. Will try chocolate pancakes again, but likely not this recipe.

I made these for my sons birthday and he loved it as the recipe calls for it. I liked the pancake as is and found it good with regular syrup (the chocolate syrup and cream were a bit much for me) Peanut butter or nutella would be great on these as well! Makes for a great treat.
