Browned Butter Cookies with Caramel Frosting
Here's one of those cookies that is enjoyed many ways--frosting first or nibbled all around. One things is certain: Everyone loves them!

It was my frist time trying to make Carmel frosting. I didn't make the cookies, just needed the frosting. I'd like to of seen the person make this or be able to ask some questions. First, the butter and brown sugar wouldn't blend and it took a long time to boil, 2nd. when I added the milk, it steamed so much I almost got burned. Then when I let it set 30 minutes, it was so cool that I could only mix 1`/2 c. powdered sugar and it was in a "ball" shape. What did I do wrong?!?

These cookies taste great. I used the recipe for the frosting and the frosting turned out really thick. I had to add some more milk so I could spread the frosting on the cookies. The next time I make these, I will used the ready-made canned Caramel frosting/icing. Other than the frosting mishap, I really liked these cookies.

Bland flavor but still have a little sweet taste. Dough is gooey unlike most cookie doughs. Overall they are okay but a lot of work.

These are my favorite cookies! The frosting is delicious, and so are the cookies. I made these for my family, and they all loved them too. When my dad tried to make them, he burned three batches of butter, so make sure that you are watching and constantly stirring. My little brother made them for a Foods class assignment and got an A!

Awesome cookie and easy too! My husband ate 5 before I even had the chance to frost them! I also brought some for my boss for his birthday and he thought they were very good as well!

These are the best. I do not bake, but was invited to a Christmas Cookie Party. The carmel frosting sounded good so there I was......Best Tasting Cookie Winner. A REAL Baker was going to use the recipe at her party & everyone was crazy about the cookie.

I made these a while ago for a family gathering and everyone loved them. I am a huge fan of anything that has to do with caramel so these are my new favorite cookies. They are sure to be a hit.
