Ingredients

1 1/2: cups whole cashews

1 1/2: cups unblanched whole almonds

1 1/2: cups pecan halves

2/3: cup packed brown sugar

3: tablespoons butter or margarine, melted

2: teaspoons chili powder

1/2: teaspoon salt

1/2: teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4: teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)

Directions

1 Spray 2 1/2- to 3 1/2-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In slow cooker, mix cashews, almonds and pecans. In small bowl, mix remaining ingredients. Pour over nuts; stir until completely coated.
2 Cover; cook on Low heat setting 2 hours, stirring after 1 hour. Lightly grease sheet of waxed paper; spread coated nuts in single layer on waxed paper. Cool completely, about 2 hours.
