Broccoli Sunshine Salad

Ingredients

cup mayonnaise or salad dressing

tablespoons cider vinegar

cups broccoli flowerets (1/2 lb)

cup shredded Cheddar cheese (1 oz)

slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled (1/4 cup)

tablespoons chopped red onion

  • 1 In large glass or plastic bowl, mix mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar.
  • 2 Add remaining ingredients; toss until evenly coated. Store covered in refrigerator.

Expert Tips

Stir the salad just before serving to redistribute all the ingredients. If the dressing is too thick, thin it with a little milk.
