EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Bread flour has more protein than all-purpose flour, so it gives a sturdy structure to baked goods. Cake and pastry flours—which have less protein than all-purpose flour—don’t work as well in bread baking.

Measuring ingredients carefully is especially important in bread machine recipes. For perfect loaves, you need to use exactly what the recipes call for.

This bread is nothing at all like pound cake. So I was quite disappointed, I was expecting a sweet bread. Not at all the case and definately nothing like pound cake. I will not be making this bread again, because there are much easier and better white bread recipes.

Hey lol yes I greased the pans Normally with a cake, I'd flip it over onto my hand or onto a rack and then flip it mnalauly the right way around, but with this, I didnt think it would work flipping it over (thought it would collapse)? How do you get it out the pan?And yes, it was tre delicious haha! Pity Spring is here already, cos its a perfect winter pudding!

This bread is the best bread machine classic white bread recipe i have made. the texture is closer to store bought bread than most recipes. It is nothing like a pound cake as the description states though.
