this recipe was awsome took it to work and everyone loved it. i mad a few minor adjustments though. i added a t sugar extra and a teaspoon of vanilla and a tea spoon and a half of cinnamon. i also put about 1/2 cup more of filling and sprinkled cinnamon and brown sugar on then closed up and cooked. also good with cherries.

Turns our perfect every time...looks like it is so difficult to make..I used the solo almond filling, covered it in granulated sugar and sliced almonds like a stollen....

This looks like a great recipe, but the calorie information is lacking. The recipe says it makes 1 coffee cake, but the serving size is 1 slice. How many 170 calorie slices does 1 coffee cake yield???

I make most of our bread and rolls using the dough cycle, so I'm always looking for new recipes. This was a good true recipe. Like it says measure out the ingredients! I usually just know what I want and don't measure. This seemed as though it was going to be too stiff, but I just let it be, and it worked. I did not have any canned pie fillings, so I used the 2 apples I had on hand. Peeled and cut them added some sugar and cinnamon I cooked them n the microwave, let them cool, and proceeded on and it worked great! I shall make this again for sure!

Absolutely loved this recipe! This is another amazing bread machine recipe from Betty Crocker that I have tried. Instead of the apple pie filling I used cherry pie filling and the end result was delicious! Incredibly quick and easy, too. This is definitely a winner!

Really do like this recipe. its easy quick and I can substitute any kind of pie filling I want to. I have even added cooked apples to make the recipe really robust. I recommend it.
