Ingredients

  • 2 cups chilled sweet iced tea
  • 6 tablespoons bourbon (3 oz)
  • 4 to 8 slices Meyer lemon
  • 6 to 12 small sprigs fresh mint
  • Ice

Steps

  • 1
In pitcher, mix tea, bourbon, lemon slices and mint sprigs.
  • 2
Fill 2 lowball glasses with ice. Pour tea mixture over ice.

Tips from the Betty Crocker Kitchens

  • tip 1
Add the desired amount of lemon and mint to taste. For a stronger lemon-mint flavor, muddle the fruit and mint sprigs in the pitcher before adding the tea and bourbon. You can strain out the fruit and mint before serving, and garnish with additional lemon slices and mint sprigs, if you like.
  • tip 2
Straight bourbon, rather than blended, is recommended for this drink. Increase the amount of bourbon, if desired, for a stronger drink.
  • tip 3
If you can’t find a Meyer lemon, substitute orange slices or regular lemon.
