Blueberry Streusel Muffins (<I>lighter recipe</I>)
(0 Ratings)
Enjoy these fruit-packed muffins as part of a healthy breakfast. Applesauce replaces much of the oil in these tasty, streusel-topped treats.

I had great hopes for this muffin recipe, but unfortunately, the taste of the muffin did not pan out. They were rather dry and flavorless.

To answer your question, you didn''t do anything wrong =)Because the recipe uses apple sauce & very little oil to lower the fat intake, it''s really good & healthy BUT the side effect is that muffins stick to the papers since very little grease. You can use more oil & less applesauce, or use foil muffin cups instead.

These tasted good but stuck to the paper liner & very difficult to remove, not a pretty site. What did I do wrong?
