This was delicious....I used "Heart Healthy" Bisquick, Splenda for the sugar, and doubled the blueberries. My husband thought the extra blueberries were fine, but I think it made the texture a little "unstable". It didn't hurt the flavor, though, and it was great to have all those blueberries!

I was horribly disappointed with this so called cake. It's texture and flavor was more like that of a biscuit than a treat. While it's flavor wasn't totally bad, it was nothing at all like I expected. Two thumbs down. Omit the icing and just slather butter on it.

I made this recipe as a dessert for my husband. he loved it. I added 2cups of berries instead of 1cup made all the difference.

This was really tasty and had the texture of a quick bread or muffins. I made it exactly as directed, using frozen blueberries (defrosted on paper towels) and it turned out great

This was quite tasty. Next time I'm to make double the icing. It was a bit dry, but I think that was my fault, I left it in the oven about 5 mins too long, so make sure you check the doneness about 5-10 mins before the reg. cooking times suggest.

I tried this at our beach house and I didn't have any confection sugar so i used canned icing abd applied it sparingly, while the cake was still hot so it melted. It tasted great. Nice treat for my family when they got up.
