I made this cake twice already :) gluten free. Substitute the regular cake mix to Betty Crocker gluten free mix and used cherry pie filling instead of blueberry, It was deliz :)

I am getting ready to make this cake ,I like the way the picture looks and i know anything that Betty Crocker makes is great.I don't understand why people rate these cakes when they don't even follow directions. They add this and that then they blame the recipe. Thank U B C.

I made this cake for our 4th of July family picnic. I used lemon cake mix, made my own thick frosting and my own blueberry mixture. It was fabulous. Not a crumb left. It makes a very pretty presentation - just be sure your frosting is thick enough to build up around the edge of cake. Thanks B.C. for a great recipe.

I made this cake for Super Bowl Sunday and had compliments from everyone! I used almost 2 cans of icing to build up the sides of the cake enough to hold the berries. I also used the whole can of berries. I was surprised at how well the cake held together with just the berry filling as a filling layer. I will definitely make this again!

would have been a great cake if i made my frosting a tad bit higher.. some of the pie filling dripped down the sides because of it so just make sure your frosting is high enough to support the pie filling. next time I think i'll use fresh blueberries instead... oh, and i used the lemon cake mix... yum =)

This recipe was so easy to make and looks lucious. Made 2 of them for a church gathering and they were gone. The bluberries are a nice change, but can change up to whatever fruit you want. I would recommend this for a quick and easy change
