EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

For a family-friendly nonalcoholic spritzer, swap out the bourbon for ginger ale.

If you have small silver or pewter cups, you can serve your mint julep the way it’s traditionally served at the Kentucky Derby. Chill the cups first to keep the beverage cold while sipping.
