ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped

cups sugar

cup dried cherries

cup roasted salted almonds, chopped
  1. Heat oven to 350F. Spray 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. In medium saucepan, melt chocolate and butter; set aside. In large bowl, mix sugar, eggs and almond extract until well blended. Stir in flour, cocoa and melted chocolate mixture until well blended. Stir in dried cherries and almonds.
  3. Spread mixture into baking pan. Bake 35 minutes or until edges are set. Cool before cutting into bars.
