With only four ingredients, these moist and cakelike fruity rings are easy to prepare. Perfect for last-minute brunch dish, they can be on the breakfast table in just 25 minutes.

    Heat 10- to 12-inch skillet over medium heat.

    In large bowl, beat Bisquick mix, egg and milk with whisk until well blended.
  • 3
    Dip fruit rings one at a time into batter; place in hot skillet.
  • 4
    Cook until deep golden brown on each side (like pancakes). Serve fruit rings with warm maple-flavored syrup.

    Mango peach or apricot rings can also be used.

    For more flavor, add ground cinnamon to the batter when using apple and/or pear rings.
