cups Original Bisquick® mix
1/2
cup milk

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 450ºF. Stir ingredients until soft dough forms.
  • 2 Turn onto surface dusted with Bisquick mix. Knead 10 times. Roll 1/2 inch thick. Cut with 2 1/2-inch cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • 3 Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.

There's no need to knead. Make drop biscuits! Stir together Bisquick mix and milk until soft dough forms, and drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

I've made these bicuits quite a few times. To keep them from sticking to the pan, I dust the surface I'm going to kneading them on with flour or Bisquick mix first. That keeps them from sticking.

I've never made these before, and made any type of biscuit (other than canned) maybe once or twice before. These were pretty good. They had a nice, light texture and got nice and fluffy. They did, however, stick to the pan like super glue. I got one or two out of six to come off in one piece. I was using them for biscuits and gravy, so it was okay, but GEEZ! I think I'll grease the pan next time!

The biscuits were great. I added just a little more than the 1/2 cup of milk recommended because they were still kind of dry. I also brushed mine with melted butter before going in the oven and halfway through. I got 6 fluffy palm sized biscuits from this recipe. I will definitely be making them again, perfect in a pinch.
