Just made these for dinner and put them on a foil lined tray after dipping in the butter. They didn't turn out too well.

I made these for lunch. I made the batter smooth not sicky. Inside the batter I added garlic powder, basil, cilantro. I rolled it in the butter before baking. As soon as they were done I rolled in the butter again and sprinkled Spanish paprika. They were melt in your mouth and soft. This recipe is a total Keeper :)

I have used a form of this recipe for at least 23 years. Back then they were called butter dips. If they turned out dry it was the fault of the cook and not the procuct!

These bread sticks are wonderful with spaghetti. I roll the dough sticks in a mixture of garlic powder and parmesan cheese and bake until set and barely brown. Reroll the sticks in mixture after removing from oven. Best served hot.

Tried it this time with Regular Bisquick, but also added Parmesan and garlic powder as suggested, much better this time around, compared to using the Heart Smart Bisquick, still a little dry though, but much improved!

These are good if you want biscuits and gravy but not for anything else IMO. I made them with chicken alfredo and they just didn't go together. I will stick with bread sticks for dinner!

These are fast & easy. Try sprinkling a little garlic/parsley salt & parmesan cheese on top after you have put them in the butter before you bake them. Like the recipe says, serve them hot, that's when they're the best.
