ring-shaped hard candies or jelly bean candies, if desired

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans). Make and cool cake as directed on box for 24 cupcakes.
  • 2 Frost with frosting. Decorate with candies. Store loosely covered at room temperature.

I first made these for my oldest sons 7th birthday, all my kids loved them, in fact, they still do, and they are now 38 and 28 years old. I am now making them for my granddaughters. I even made them and took them for a potluck at the school I worked at, and the teachers all loved them also.
