I made this and decided to change it some after tasting it the first time. I added another 1/4 cup brown sugar and about a teaspoon or so of chipotle chili pepper powder. Adds a nice little bite to it.

I really like this recipe and have used it for ribs as well as for the bbq sauce in the bbq beef sandwich recipe. This recipe would work great for chicken as well.

I didn''t have high hopes for this recipe, but I was completely wrong! It''s absolutely delicious. It''s easy to make small changes to taste. We made our own chili sauce, made some small adjustments, and ended up with a barbecue sauce that had a perfect balance of tangy and sweet. We''ll never buy barbecue sauce again! I can''t wait to try it on ribs.
