A basic cheesecake becomes divine when you add a chocolate cookie crust, orange peel and your favorite berries.

I made this for my mom to celebrate mothers day. I didn't have a springform pan and instead used a glass pie pan. I also opted out of the chocolate wafers and made this cheesecake sweeter by using the cookie part of Oreo cookies. I scrapped all the filling off the cookies, and they made a delicious crust! It turned out great!!! Despite my variations, it was perfect in taste and looked fabulous.

I made this for a potluck and I was relieved how easy it turned out to be. I added a chocolate layer on top and really thought it looked beautiful. Everyone thought it was store bought! Something about the sweetness didn't really add up. It tasted light, not really like a cheesecake. Either way, it was good, but not fantastic. Next time I think I'll try a different crust instead of the chocolate graham crackers, maybe it will make it sweeter.

I made this receipe for my sister's birthday, it was such a hit! Not only was it delicious it was beautiful (even prettier than the picture). Even the waitess at the resturant commented on it, so we gave her a piece too! I will make it again. Dinowife: I used chocolate gram crackers, pretty easy to find:-)

Great flavor; but ended up using plain old graham cracker crumbs...good luck finding chocolate crumbs or chocolate wafers to smash up!

Very good cheesecake. I would have preferred some sort of sauce to garnish each piece with, but other than that it was very good!

This was excellent! I was able to use fresh berries and substituted the chocolate crust for a graham crust with brown sugar instead of white.

TO MAKE IT FOR DIEBETICS USE SPLENDA FOR SUGAR..EXCHANGE 2/3 CUP FOR 2/3 CUP.. TEASPOON FOR TEASPOON.. GRAHAM CRACKER WITH MELTED UNSWEETEN CHOCOLATE. LOW-FAT SOUR CREAM. THAT WAY THE WHOLE FAMILY CAN EAT AND ENJOY. WE DID.

This cheescake was delicious! I made if for Easter Sunday and it got rave reviews from my family. The only problem was the cheesecake cracked about 10 minutes before the bake time was up. I took it out and it was completely cooked. With the spread on top, who knew it was cracked? I will definately be making this again.
