These were really tasty and so easy to make. I used my George Forman grill to cook them and they were great! My kids and I had a great time making them assembly line style. We made some following this recipe and some Ham with stone ground mustard and cheddar.

The garlic in the pesto is overpowering. Cutting down the garlic to only one or two cloves - - not three- - may be better. Sandwich was delicious. Fried it slowly in a pan on medium heat slowly- - and it was just perfect - cheese was melted perfectly. I used Vienna bread (a bit thinner and smaller that Italian). Very good. My son loved it. He wanted thirds!

Pretty good. I grilled them in a skillet, like a grilled cheese, and the bread was very toasty and a little hard to eat. Also the cheese didnt melt very good.

I made this sandwich with rye bread instead of the italian bread and it was so delicious!It''s very simply, straightforward and the combination of beef, pesto and mozarella is unbelievably good!It''s like eating at a great deli restaraunt and it only takes a few minutes.
