I LOVE this soup. It's so easy to make. I found the recipe and started making it for my bf a few years ago and he loved it so we made it for his family. Now it's on their rotating list of dinners, as well. It's also a nice way for me to eat more veggies! Seriously one of my favorite dinners ever!

Very good soup. Quick and easy and very flavorful. I added a can of kidney beans to get a little fiber in the meal. Very good - my husband said he will ask me to make it again.

I called my husband at work and told him to make hamburgers for supper. He said that he wanted to try this soup. I was not impressed. I was looking forward to a hamburger. Am I ever glad he made this recipe. It was ready in about 1 1/2 hrs, (he let it simmer longer, and was absolutely delicious. This is a 5 spoon recipe. He used 3 beef cubes instead of the 5 teaspoons recommended. Added spaghetti seasoning as the Italian and increased the pepper to 2 tablespoons to give it a bit of a kick. Did not need the cheese at all. Great recipe. Our family will definitely have this again.

A quick and easy meal on those nights when there is little time to cook. Great with a crisp salad and some crusty bread.

I made the soup and then put it in the fridge for the next days dinner. The next day I added a small can of tomato sauce and some garlic powder. I wanted dinner ready when I came home from a meeting so I put it in the crockpot on low for 2 hours.

Wonderful, quick, and easy! My family and I loved this recipe. I just added some garlic powder, parsley, and salt. I will definitely make again.

Betty Crocker has created another great recipe for my finicky family. Ground Turkey can be another alternative to hamburger, and is still tasty! I've added a little Progresso Southwestern Style soup which adds more veggies. I also added broccoli florets and freshly chopped celery in addition to the carrots and peas. This is a hearty and healthy meal the whole family will enjoy!
