Have ripe bananas? Mix them up into a cake that's so good, it doesn't need frosting.

AMAZING & always a hit when I bake! I added pecans, used applesauce instead of oil, almond milk instead of water, and baked in muffin pans for 18 - 20 minutes to make single serving cupcakes. This is one delicious recipe I can never make enough of!

Good cake, but too many flavors going on...between the bananas & toffee & almond extract. My husband & daughter loved it!! Next time I will make it without the almond extract!! Very moist!!

Very good and easy to make. I frosted it with a chocolate frosting and it was yummy.

Delicious and so moist! I made this cake recently for a family gathering and everyone loved it. What a great way to incorporate very ripe bananas...you could really taste them. I will definately make this cake again.

My husband and I thought there were too many different flavors going on in this cake... bananas, ALMOND flavoring, toffee chips and caramel topping! Next time, instead of THIS recipe I will try the "Banana Toffee Picnic Cupcakes" recipe made as a cake instead, and omit the almond flavoring altogether. In the Cupcakes recipe, the toffee chips actually go into the batter instead of on top. I may also add about 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts to the batter.

A very moist cake and really good, even if you don't put the caramel icing on.

Recently made this for church bbq night; I added a whole package of toffee bits-I really like them! :) It was good; like the caramel topping with it, didn't do the bananas on top but plan to next time- oh yeah, there will be a next time! Everyone at the bbq liked it as well.I also like AmyRenee's idea of cinnamon/butter cream frosting; will try that sometime.

This is one of the best cakes I've made. Instead of the toffee bits I put in about 2 tsp.'s of cinnamon and I frosted it with Betty Crocker Butter Cream frosting. All I can say is YUM!
