Directions

  • 1 Prep Work: 1.Slice all the strawberries into thin slices first, store in refrigerator for later. 2.Gather 3 large bowls, food processor and electric mixer 3.Have measuring cups, spoons and spatulas ready
  • 2 Making Crust/First Layer: 1.Crush Vanilla Wafers as well as you can. I find Cuisinart processor works best. 2. Pour crushed vanilla wafers into large bowl. 3.Heat up 1 stick of butter until liquid, in microwave or on stove. 4.Pour liquid butter over Vanilla Wafers and mix until evenly absorbed. 5.Lay on pan as first layer.
  • 3 Making Fluff/Second Layer: 1. Mix 1 stick of butter, 1 stick/bar of cream cheese and 2 cups of powdered sugar in large bowl until fluffy. May need to heat the butter a little before mixing. I find it's best to mix with electric mixer. 2.Pour in pan as second layer.
  • 4 Fruit/Third Layer: 1. Drain pineapple well and spread evenly over fluff /filling 2. Grab strawberries from refrigerator and evenly cover pineapple 3. Slice banana's and cover pineapple with banana slices
  • 5 Cool Whip/Fourth Layer: 1. Mix cool whip with mixer until it loosens enough to pour evenly over entire pie
  • 6 Garnish/Final Step: 1. Decorate with other fresh fruit, or other choice garnishes. Caramel or chocolate syrup works great. 2. Store in refrigerator for several hours, or preferably a day before eating.
