I made these pancakes for mother's day for my mom, and she loved them! I didn't add any nuts, but they were so filling that my mom said she didn't need them. They can be difficult to cook, but once you the hang of it, there is nothing stopping that mountain of pancakes to start building up. However, I thought the serving size was a little off, it says it makes a whole bunch when I only got about ten out of all the batter, oh well!

These are the best pancakes we have ever made! We forgot to add the extra bananas at the end as garnish, but will add that next time.

I love these pancakes. The only thing I recommend is to only use a smidge less than 1/4 C. of batter per pancake, otherwise the middle stays wet.

These pancakes are always a hit! I''ve made them for friends and family several times, especially when people spend the night and I want to make a nice brunch the next morning. Guests always tell me how delicious they are and insist on getting the recipe. My husband loves them too! He loves pancakes and prefers these over any other! I personally make a few changes, depending on what I have on hand, so they are very versatile. I usually use whole wheat flour instead (or sometimes half and half). Also, I rarely have buttermilk in the fridge and regular milk seems to work just as well (I use 2%). And, I have always used walnuts instead of pecans, just because I always have them in my pantry. Another thing I just started doing is adding different fruit ingredients to the bananas, like blueberries, or strawberries. They seem to be great, no matter how I adjust them. The only "complaint" would be that they seem to come out pretty dense. Could be something I''m doing wrong, but they still taste amazing and no one else has ever complained about it. Anyway, definitely a great pancake recipe - I highly recommend it! I too put the extras in the fridge and have them throughout the week (they seem to taste great popped in the microwave for about 20-25 seconds or sometimes I even eat them cold). And, I have frozen the batter before, which works well too - you just need to thaw and add a splash of milk before cooking. You can freeze the cooked pancakes as well.

The result of this recipe is outstanding! However, the recipe instructions are questionable when it asks you to basically mix everything after beating the eggs. Seems like there should be some order. I added the sugars and buttermilk to the eggs. I added the dry ingredients in a separate bowl and mixed them before adding them into the liquid mixture. I subsituted walnuts for pecans. I added a teaspoon of vanilla to the liquid ingredients. Again, these pancakes are wonderful. You won''t be disappointed.

I made these for my Dad this past weekend for an early Father''s Day celebration. He is a pancake connoisseur, and very snobbish when it comes to pancakes. Everyone absolutely loved them (including my Dad), and they finished off the remainder of the batter the following day. He insisted that I give my Mom the recipe so that she can make them for him when they get home.I did make a couple slight improvisations. I never use vegetable oil - I only keep olive oil on hand at home, and used it in place of the vegetable oil. In place of the 1/4 cup sugar (granulated or brown), I used 1/8 cup brown sugar, and 1/8 cup Splenda. No one could notice the changes that I made in the recipe.Five stars for this recipe. I''d make it again in a heartbeat.

I made these Pancakes for my Dad for an early Father''s Day celebration breakfast.I don''t use vegetable oil, so I substituted olive oil. For sugar, I strayed from the recipe - I used 1/8 cup brown sugar and 1/8 cup Splenda. The pancakes were AMAZING. Everybody went back for seconds, and requested that I pass the recipe along to them.My Dad is a pancake snob, and he thought that they were amazing. Five stars in my book. Thank you for the recipe!

What a fabulous quick and easy recipe. I always put in a little lemon juice into 2% milk as I do not purchase buttermilk. It works fantastic and quick alternative. The pancakes are so very tender and the taste is "Out Of This World" my husband asks for them frequently. I make the entire recipe and put the remaining in the fridge. We can have them the next few days easily warmed up in the oven and they still are fresh. My husband even takes them to work for his lunch as they are so delicious. Betty Crocker you have done it again and we thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
