Banana Nut Cookies

This chewy cookie recipe offers a flavorful combination of banana, oats, walnuts and raisins - great for dessert.

Ingredients

cups old-fashioned oats

cup raisins

cup chopped walnuts

teaspoon salt

cups mashed bananas (about 3 medium)

cup vegetable oil

teaspoon vanilla

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, mix oats, raisins, walnuts and salt. In medium bowl, mix bananas, oil and vanilla. Add banana mixture to dry ingredients, stirring until blended. Let stand 15 minutes.
  • 2 Onto ungreased cookie sheets, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls.
  • 3 Bake 15 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks.
