The cupcakes were great, the home-made frosting Me and my family weren't to fond of it. I added some more milk to the frosting then put it in the fridge to thickin' it I added some cinnamon to help the taste. Added just enough to cover the cupcake and topped it with two slices of banana and sprinkled some more cinnamon. Came out great (:

I added 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/4c or a little more of crushed pineapple (with juice) and made cream cheese frosting with crushed pecans - or you can add the pecans/walnuts in the batter too. Very good.

I made these cupcakes this morning and they were amazing! Just the sweet fix I was looking for. I added one banana, 1/2 cup of cinnamon applesauce (what I had on hand) and a little cinnamon. I skipped the homemade frosting and topped them with store-bought cream cheese frosting. They were very moist and tasted great warm. My non-GF family gobbled them up! My only complaint is that I can't stop eating them!!

I was very excited to makes these cupcakes. I seen other people using a browned butter frosting and when I saw it combined with banana, I was sold. However, after tasting them, I was very disappointed. They were very dry and the odd taste of the icing was a bit off-putting. Definitely will not be making these again. But hey, nothing ventured nothing gained. Even negative results can be useful.

WONDERFUL!!! You can't even tell that its Gluten Free. I made them for my neighbors that have GF. Great feed back from them too. I used the Betty Crocker's GF Yellow & chocolate cake mix. The frosting is SO good! I did use 3 bananas instead of 2. Try it! You will LOVE IT! Great to bring to a party or kids party they won't know its GF and you will be happier that you can eat cake too!

I never write reviews, but.... This recipe was excellent! Typically gluten free baked goods tend to be dry, tastless, and have terrible texture. These muffins/cupcakes were awesome. I did add 1/2 applesauce and cinnamon as previous reviewers mentioned and it was very moist. I skipped the frosting and ate them as muffins. My kids loved them!!

Delicious icing. I'm the only GF person in my family, so we froze half of them. I would thaw them whenever anything came up...breakfast as muffins, dessert as cupcakes.
