Betty Crocker Bisquick II Cookbook shares a recipe! An easier-than-pie dessert reminiscent of banana cream pie. Mmm!

This was amazing - made it with Graham Wafers for the bottom, used banana pudding instead of vanilla and topped it with toasted coconut. This will be a regular go-to recipe from now on.

Has anyone tried this recipe with ladyfingers on the bottom instead of the crust? My crust became too hard and it was very difficult to take it out with a spoon.

Made this for my bunco group and they loved it!! Took leftovers home to the grandkids and they loved it too. I used a larger pan so the crust was thinner and crunchy but everyone liked it that way. Only problem I had with it was a salty taste to the crust which I couldn't understand since there was no salt added but it was a big hit! Will definitely make again since it was so easy.

I made this with banana cream pudding instead of vanilla! it gives it more banana flavor! I also used less crust as it just looked too thick so I just removed some of it! I put my bananas right on the crust before adding the pudding layer!

The first time I made this, I used the recipe for the Bisquick crust. I wasn't real impressed with it. The next time I tried using Nila wafers. It was pretty good, but I think I liked it the third time I made it, with a plain graham cracker crust. The Bisquick crust was just too heavy and not the right taste. My husband devours it, regardless of which crust I use. Love it.

We have dessert night twice a week and my daughter picks this almost every time. We've played around with the pudding and our favorite is to also add a layer of chocolate or pistachio. In addition to the bananas I also sprinkle with nuts. I also use a small amount of banana extract in the pudding. Love the recipe but like most we need to tweak it to make it match our tastes.

I also like to put a thin layer of sliced bananas right on the crust under the pudding. Yum!!!
