These muffins are fantastic! Very moist and delicious. I used 2 medium bananas and didn't measure exactly but no issues with doing that. The topping isn't necessary, these are great with out it but if you have a sweet tooth and do add it the butter amount can be halved. 4tbsp was too much and therefore a waste. I will absolutely make this recipe again.

I had some ripe bananas on hand and came across this recipe. I am so glad I did as this is one of the best ones I've made! My husband raved about them as well. I took another user's advice and added a Tbsp. of brown sugar to the mix. These came out fluffy and are so good served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or plain with a pat of butter. This will be my go-to recipe from now on!

By far the best recipe I have ever tried. Took the advice of topping the muffins before baking-worked great. I added a tablespoon of brown sugar to batter. My very picky 5 year old asked for two muffins and told me I was the best baker ever. I told her I was the best baker because I had her as a helper!

This was a wonderful recipe. Absoutly perfect amount to have for 2 people 1 pan of 6 and to share with neighbors 1 pan of 6 . I added a little nutmeg to the sugar mixture. Thanks for a wonderful morning recipe. My house smells like a bakery all day :)

There muffins were excellent! However, instead of dipping them in the topping after they were baked, I mixed the the butter, cinnamon and sugar beforehand and sprinkled it on top before baking. It gave the muffins a wonderful texture on top.

excellent, the true banana flavor comes through. made some alterations, used 1/3 cup of sugar instead of 2/3 cups, and didn't use butter after it was bakes, simply sprinkled some cinnamon on-top.

I used 3 bananas, in place of 1/2 cup oil: 1/2 cup cinnamon applesauce & 1/4 cup oil, whole wheat flour and followed everything else as is.... delicious!

This was easy to put together and delicious to eat. My kids really enjoyed them too. The batter itself was the best banana muffin batter I've tasted. My oven runs hot, so I baked them 2-3 minutes less than the minimum 17 minutes suggested; they were perfect. I'm keeping this recipe to make again and again.

I modified this recipe a bit with my 3 year old. We added strawberries that were chopped up in a food processor. I didn't do the cinnamon or the sugar cinnamon topping. So we ended up with strawberry banana mini muffins which were excellent!!!
