Love this bread! So moist! Used banana yogurt in place of the buttermilk, not sure how much this improved the recipe, however I know the next time I will do the same. This will be my ONLY Banana Bread recipe going forward!!

After using my original Betty Crocker Banana Bread recipe from the first cookbook I ever had....over 45 years ago....I tried this recipe and just love it. Hello to my "NEW" and favorite banana nut bread...my family and friends agree.

This bread is just plain old excellent. For years I have used a Betty Crocker Banana Bread recipe from the 1950's cook book. The ingredients for this recipie are slightly different with the buttermilk. My family likes this bread just as much.

BEST BANANA NUT BREAD RECIPE EVER!!!!! Thank goodness I made a double batch of this recipe. My husband and two sons ate them up like nothing flat. They are so moist and delicious. This is a must have/save recipe for our family. The only thing I did different was I used less sugar and I made them into muffins. Will have to make this recipe again real soon.

this is a wonderful recipe, although I did make some changes; I decreased the sugar to 1/2 cup and added 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce, I decreased the butter to 6 tablespoons and added 1/4 cup ground flax seed, and I decreased the the white flour to 2 cups and added 1/2 cup whole wheat four. I made one loaf, in a 9" loaf pan and it is the most delicious banana bread I ever tasted.
