How do you make a good thing even better? By reducing the calorie and fat content of this irresistible banana bread. Ripe bananas and unsweetened applesauce ensure that the bread stays moist and tender.

This is the most wonderful banana bread ever! And the best part is that it is low fat/low calorie!! I didn't have unsweetened applesauce at hand so I cut down on the sugar by about 1/8 of a cup. The bread is moist and tasty!

This is a great tasting, easy to prepare quick bread. I substituted whole wheat flour and used Splenda in place of sugar because I am diabetic. It turned out perfectly. Great recipe.

I added some cinnamon, nutmeg, and chopped apples. I substituted half of the sugar with brown sugar. With those additions, this recipe mad fantastic muffins. For muffins, bake for only 18-20 minutes. I also made a crumble topping on these muffins using flour, brown sugar, and butter.

I have made this recipe sooo many times but the recipe I had used brown sugar instead of normal sugar which gives it a more caramel flavour

This recipe is delicious! The bread is very moist, and you don't feel like you are eating something "lighter" at all. I added 1 tablespoon vanilla by accident, but it gave it amazing flavor, and I'll probably continue to add that much when I make this again, which I definitely am going to do.

This recipe is fantastic. i made it today with my 2 year old. It is simple to follow and tastes great. The only thing I changed was I replaced the sugar with splenda. The best part is that all 4 of my kids ate it like crazy and I don't have to worry about them eating extra garbage.
