Expert Tips

You can purchase turkey from the deli or use packaged sliced turkey breast found with the luncheon meats.

This hot sandwich, reminiscent of a club sandwich, makes an awesome casual meal. Wrap each serving in a sheet of aluminum foil, and then tote with fresh fruit and cookies for a hot portable meal.

This was soooo good. I did add some pepper to the batter and a layer of sliced jalapeños on top of the turkey. The jalapeños really add a nice touch.

Made this tonight for dinner and my family loved it! I did add more bacon than recipe called for. Didn't look like the 5 strips recipe called for would cover the top. We will be making this recipe again soon! I think I may try salami with turkey next time for a more spicy flavor.

I made it basically from the directions except I put ham on one half(partner not fond of turkey) and turkey on the other half. I read the reviews that said it was a little dry so I added about 3 Tblsp salsa on top of the meats. Very good. There was not enough salsa to make it soggy but added plenty of moisture and flavor, not to much though. Will make again with other choices in the center.
