28 oz can diced tomatoes

cups tomato sauce

lg. onion

green pepper

cloves garlic, chopped

Tablespoons parsley flakes

tsp. italian seasoning

tsp. garlic powder

tsp. black pepper

tsps. season salt
1 1/2
tsps. sugar

small bay leaves

lbs. ground beef, browned
8
oz. angel hair pasta, uncooked

cup grated cheddar
1
cup grated monterey jack
  1. Preheat oven 350 degrees.
  2. Combine all ingredients except cheese and pasta. Simmer for 20 mintues. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  3. Cover the bottom of a 13x9 pan with sauce. Add a layer of pasta and then layer of cheese. Repeat layers ending with sauce saving some cheese for the top.
  4. Bake in oven for 30 minutes. Top the dish with the remaining cheese and return to oven and continue to cook until cheese is melted about 5 minutes. Take out of oven and let sit for 5 minutes. Cut into squares before serving.
