Jars Bertoli's 5 Cheese Spaghetti Sauce
Extra Cheese of your choice
Spaghetti
  1. In a large pot, boil spaghetti until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool.
  2. On cutting board, slice olives, onions and mushrooms to preferred sizes. Buffalo Mozzarella can be purchased pre-cut or in one solid piece, whichever you prefer.
  3. In large glass baking dish, place first layer of spaghetti sauce. Then lay spaghetti in first layer. (May choose to begin layering your alternative cheese here, this recipe is meant merely as a guideline and can be adjusted as you choose).
  4. After the spaghetti, layer in onions, olives, mushrooms and cheese. Continue this layering process until all ingredients are used.
  5. The final layer should consist of some of your olives, mushrooms and onion as well as the Buffalo Mozzarella. Feel free to be very liberal with the mozzarella, it helps to add that salty taste as well as holding all of the ingredients together.
  6. Bake in oven for 15-30 minutes. (Bake time depends on your oven, mine is a gas oven and tends to cook things rather quickly).
