Meaty portabella mushrooms make deliciously crispy oven fries, in a quick-fix recipe that requires only 15 minutes of prep time.
After removing the mushroom stems and before slicing the mushrooms, use a spoon to scrape out the dark gills, if desired.
Instead of ketchup, try serving the fries with your favorite salad dressing or flavored mayonnaise.
The fries are just as tasty without the cheese, if you want to omit it.
