Ingredients

4: cups hot cooked orzo or rosamarina pasta

3/4: cup fat-free cholesterol-free egg product or 3 eggs, beaten

2: tablespoons soft whole wheat or white bread crumbs

1: tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

1: tablespoon basil pesto

1/4: teaspoon pepper

1: large tomato, chopped (1 cup)

1: package (10 ounces) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed to drain

1: garlic clove, finely chopped

1: can (15 oz) Progresso® chick peas (garbanzo beans), drained, rinsed

1 Heat oven to 350ºF. Grease 3-quart casserole.
2 Mix all ingredients; spoon into casserole. Bake uncovered about 30 minutes or until golden brown.

This was horrible! I was hesitant looking at the ingredients and the reviews; and I wish I would have listened to my gut instinct!! This is so bland and just a mushy mess! A real waste of ingredients and time! It smelt good while cooking snd we were ready to dig in thinking maybe it'll surprise us; but man were we let down! (I have a family of 5) I was very disappointed with this recipe which is strange because this is the first Betty C recipe that turned out bad for me! I gave it a one spoon rating for ease of preparation and great use of things on kept on hand but the taste rating would be a negative 5 spoons!!!

This was really fantastic. Any time you find a family of four consisting of adults, 13YO girl and 11YO boy agreeing that its delicious, you know you have a winner. I am surprised by previous comments that it was dry and lacking flavor because the batch I made was moist and full of flavor. Will definitely be making it again.
