Baked Lemon Doughnuts with Lemon Glaze

cups Bisquick® Complete pancake & waffle mix

tablespoons granulated sugar

teaspoon grated lemon peel
1
tablespoon lemon juice
1/3
cup milk

teaspoon vanilla
Glaze
1/2
cup powdered sugar
1
tablespoon milk
1
teaspoon lemon juice
Yellow sugar crystals or candy sprinkles, if desired
  1. Heat oven to 425°F. Spray mini doughnut pan with cooking spray.
  2. In medium bowl, mix all doughnut ingredients with spoon until blended. Spoon batter into pan, using about 1 tablespoon for each doughnut.
  3. Bake 6 to 8 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Remove doughnuts from pan to cooling rack; cool 5 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, in small bowl, mix powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon milk and 1 teaspoon lemon juice with whisk until smooth.
  5. Dip tops of doughnut tops in glaze; sprinkle with sugar crystals. Serve warm.
