Baked Herb Chicken Drumsticks

teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary leaves

teaspoons chopped fresh thyme leaves

tablespoon Dijon mustard

lb chicken drumsticks

  • 1 Heat oven to 400°F. Line cookie sheet with foil or cooking parchment paper.
  • 2 In small bowl, mix rosemary, thyme, mustard, oil and salt. Brush or rub mixture over chicken. Place on cookie sheet.
  • 3 Bake 25 minutes, turning once, or until juice of chicken is clear when thickest part is cut to bone (at least 165°F).

Expert Tips

Serve chicken with a side salad, veggies or mashed potatoes.

If you don’t have fresh herbs on hand, use 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon each dried rosemary and thyme leaves, crushed.
