This was good but not as good as I was expecting based on the reviews. That said, I did eat an entire serving and will make this again probably adding more cinnamon and a little vanilla extract. I would recommend trying it as it is quite good just missing something for me. Maybe cranberries would be a good addition also. Happy cooking!

I made this oatmeal for my "girl" friends on our annual ski trip to the North Shore of Lake Superior. It was so delicious. I also served it with fresh fruit and vanilla yogurt. I definitely will make this again. Thanks for the wonderful recipe.

This recipe is delicious! And, yes, it makes my kitchen smell wonderful. My husband loves it and we have made this a regular meal for breakfast. One recipe makes breakfast for us for two to three days. He really misses it if we run out. I have sometimes mixed dark raisins and golden raisins. Also, I just tossed the walnuts into the recipe and cooked it. It turned out great. We also like to add a little evaporated milk to the oatmeal when it comes out of the oven. I have recommended this recipe to all of my family and friends!
