cans whole water chestnuts
1
lb bacon (not microwave)
1/2
cup ketchup
1/3
cup sugar

tsp worcestershire sauce
  1. Drain water chestnuts, cut bacon in half so each slice is long enough to wrap around each chestnut with an overlap, then secure bacon with a toothpick and place on a cookie sheet.
  2. Bake on at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
  3. Remove bacon wrapped chestnuts from cookie sheet and clean it, draining all grease. Place bacon wrapped chestnuts back onto clean cookie sheet.
  4. Combine ketchup, sugar, and worcestershire sauce to create sauce. Brush sauce onto bacon wrapped chestnuts.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.
